Prescott School District – Welcome Back!
Dear Prescott Families,
We’re excited to welcome everyone back for the 2025–2026 school year! The first day of school is Monday, August 25.
High School Sports:! Volleyball and Soccer practices start immediately and run until approximately 5:30 p.m. each day. Please get in touch with Coach Young (Volleyball) or Coach Grimm (Soccer) with any questions. Remember—Final Forms must be completed before participating.
Back to School Night will be Thursday, August 21—we hope to see you there!
We have the same great staff, with a few people in new roles:
Jennifer Hammer – Counseling, Discipline, Admin Support, and High School Social Studies
Sarah Pearson – Counseling and Special Education
Ty Herbrandson – Continuing in PE and now in Elementary Special Education
Susan Wildey – Back Office and Food Service
This year, our school focus will be on GRRR: Gratitude, Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility for both staff and students. All teachers will be using Class Dojo to communicate with parents.
We’re also starting a volunteer group—more information will be coming soon.
As your new Superintendent and Principal, I’m happy to talk or meet with anyone in the community about our school. Let’s make it a great year together!

Distrito Escolar de Prescott – ¡Bienvenidos de Nuevo!
Estimadas familias de Prescott:
¡Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a todos para el año escolar 2025–2026! El primer día de clases será el lunes 25 de agosto.
Deportes de Preparatoria: ¡Las prácticas de voleibol y fútbol comienzan de inmediato y se realizarán hasta aproximadamente las 5:30 p.m. cada día! Por favor, comuníquese con la Entrenadora Young (Voleibol) o el Entrenador Grimm (Fútbol) si tiene alguna pregunta. Recuerde: Final Forms debe estar completado antes de participar.
La Noche de Regreso a Clases será el jueves 21 de agosto — ¡esperamos verlos allí!
